and 1240 ESPN Radio was honored May 5th, 2011 for his 40
years of service to the company.

Ken Stanford began his career with Jacobs Media in 1971.

Stanford said he'd seen the radio stations go through a number of
changes over the years, including the addition of an internet
component and multiple renovations to the radio station's facilities.
