| Micah Garrison
is a local man who is serving in Iraq. He has
kept me updated on his unit. Last week he sent
this information, "on a recent combat patrol,
one of my humvees struck an IED. All five occupants
were injured. Four received minor injuries.
Garrett Anderson, however, was seriously wounded.
The most serious wound he received forced the
amputation of his right arm above the elbow.
Although he will survive, his life will never
be the same. He was married shortly before he
deployed. Please pray for Garrett's physical
and emotional well being during the upcoming
months. He faces a long road of recovery and
physical therapy as well as learning to live
with a prosthetic arm. Please pray that his
wife and family provide him with the love and
support he needs. Garrett's brother is also
currently serving on the front lines in Iraq
as a Marine."
